Interviewer(s):
Cali Powell, Mia Shang
Date of Interview:
August 2, 2019
Transcript:
We did it all. Originally, when I was a kid, we did it with mules. We did everything, rode land, the whole nine yards. But then as you progress, you get tractors. You still use mules but I enjoyed every bit of tobacco. The hardest job about tobacco was putting it in the barn, hanging it. You stay in the hot field all day but then you have to go to the barn, and there weren’t no airs turning in no barn.
